This letter is intended to remind you of our upcoming End of Marking Period Assessment schedule beginning on Monday, June 12th and running through Friday, June 16th.  The Marking Period 4 Assessment schedule is indicated below:

As you may be aware, there is extended bus service during the final assessment period.  Buses will pick up as usual every morning.  The schedule for the five days is indicated below: 

Monday, June 12th – Thursday, June 15th 

Buses will pick up as usual in the morning (normally scheduled bus stop)

Buses will begin picking up for the second assessment at 9:00 and be in by 9:25 (normally scheduled bus stop)

 

Buses will depart for home after the first assessment at 9:25 (sweeper routes – River, Ridge, etc.)

Buses will depart for home after the second assessment at 11:15 (sweeper routes – River, Ridge, etc.)

Friday, June 16th 

NO BUS PICK UP

It is imperative all students be present for their assessments.  If a student is ill, a doctor’s note will be required to schedule a makeup.

If your child is ill:

  • Contact and submit documentation to the Attendance Office.
  • If circumstances do not allow scheduling a makeup during the assessment dates the teacher will contact his/her Supervisor to make arrangements for an alternate time.

Please encourage your student to get ample rest and have a healthy breakfast each day.  The Cafeteria will be open for breakfast prior to the first assessment period.  Snacks will be available for purchase in our Cafeteria between exams from Monday, June 12th, through Thursday, June 15th. The Library/Media Center has been designated as a quiet study area during assessments.

Students are not required to report to school during their scheduled lunch period.  For information regarding assessment exemption, please refer to the student handbook.
