Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s) of the Class of 2017:

As you are aware, members of the Class of 2017 (and beyond) are required to complete 2.5 credits in Financial Literacy for graduation, pursuant to NJAC 6A:8-5. Students in the class of 2017 will be required to complete an on-line, independent tutorial that consists of two components; VENTURE and EVERFI Financial Literacy learning programs.

If you have not completed this online program, you must use the NEW CODES below:

BOTH COURSES MUST BE COMPLETED BY 8/31/2016

Directions:

PART I – VENTURE – ENTREPRENEURIAL EXPEDITION

1. Sign on to Everfi.net
2. Where it indicates – “signing up” – enter email address and click on “I am a student”
3. Enter the following Class of 2017 Class code – a0b77ef1
4. Register
5. Complete the following modules:

  • Overview
  • The Entrepreneur In You
  • Recognizing Business Opportunities & Planning to Start Your Business
  • Your Business Snapshot

PART II – EVERFI – Responsible Money Choices and You

6. Sign on to Everfi.net
7. Where it indicates – “signing up” – enter email address and click on “I am a student”
8. Enter the following Class of 2017 Class code – 43384c28
9. Register
10. Complete the following modules:

  • Overview
  • Banking
  • Credit Score
  • Renting vs. Owning
  • Consumer Fraud
  • Savings
  • Payments, Interest Rates, and Credit Cards
  • Financing Higher Education
  • Taxes and Insurance
  • Investing
  1. Course survey #3
  2. Renting vs. Owning
  3. Insurance and Taxes
  4. Investing

Begin with the “Overview” and proceed as prompted.

When you complete the module, we will receive direct notification.

ONCE COMPLETED YOU MUST PRINT YOUR CERTIFICATE AND HAND IN TO THE MAIN OFFICE AT RFH.
