Annual RFH “Empty Bowls” Benefit Slated for March 2nd

Rumson – The annual Empty Bowls fundraiser hosted by Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School will be held in the school’s Cafeteria on Thursday, March 2nd from 6:30-8:30 p.m. The event benefits the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Empty Bowls is named for the situation faced by local families struggling to put food on the table. Each year the event is open to the public and features beautiful original artwork in the form of colorful bowls created by RFH ceramics students. Just ten dollars purchases one of the ceramic bowls as well as soup and bread.

Event organizers are also requesting donations of canned foods for the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties as well as new or gently used children’s books for donation to Bridge of Books.
