St. Patrick’s Day Parade

March 15th, 2013

For Immediate Release — March 8, 2013

Rumson — If you drive past Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School after dark, you will notice that the school’s clock tower is casting a warm green glow. The high school’s “Wearin’ o’ the Green” commemorates not only St. Patrick’s Day but also the borough of Rumson’s first-ever St. Patrick’s Day Parade to be held on Sunday, March 10. Many RFH students plan to participate in the parade, which will step off at 1 p.m. from Victory Park at the corner of West Lafayette Street and River Road in Rumson.

The RFH marching band and cheerleaders will perform and march in the parade. Students members of the RFH Key Club and the basketball team will participate as well.  The RFH students will be among those presenting cultural and educational programs in Victory Park prior to the start of the parade.
