Health Protocol Concerning Fevers
May 30, 2025
Dear RFH Parent(s)/Guardian(s):
As we move through the final stretch of the school year, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and to remind everyone of an important health policy.
While we truly value daily student attendance and love having your children in school, their health and the health of our entire school community is a priority. As such, please remember that students must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication (such as Advil, Tylenol, or Motrin) before returning to school. Although fever-reducing medications are effective at lowering temperature, students may still be contagious and unintentionally transmit illness to others
This policy helps us minimize the spread of illness and keep everyone in our school community safe and well. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and essential to maintaining a healthy environment for all.
Thank you again for your understanding and partnership. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our school nurse or me.
