Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School is proud to share the accomplishments of its students on
the most recent Advanced Placement Exams given by the College Board. RFH offers 24 AP courses (full list
below) across content areas, with some courses having multiple related AP Exams (i.e. students in AP
Economics take both exams in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics). More than 400 students participated
in the exams this spring, roughly 49% of the total student body. With most students taking more than one
course, the school administered more than 750 exams over the two-week administration period from May 5
through May 16, 2025. Students earned a score of 3 or higher on an impressive 88% of exams taken.
In addition, the College Board bestows AP Scholar Awards to recognize high school students who
have demonstrated exemplary college-level achievement on AP Exams. The following awards were given to
exemplary RFH students based on their performance this past spring:

● 1 AP International Diploma (granted to students scoring 3 or higher on five or more AP Exams
from four different content areas)
● 50 AP Scholars with Distinction (granted to students who received an average score of 3.5 or
higher on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams)
● 39 AP Scholars with Honors (granted to students who receive an average score of 3.25 or
higher on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams)
● 63 AP Scholars (granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP
Exams)

Rumson Fair Haven Regional strives to promote college, career, and life readiness among its students, and
AP exams are one piece of that work. Students can earn college credit based on their AP Exam
performance and are exposed to the pacing, depth of content knowledge, and workload of a college-level
course while still in high school, an invaluable experience. RFH is extremely proud of the hard work, content
mastery, and performance of their AP students this past school year!
