The Character Education Club centers on the development of character and morals in the school community through student education, involvement and leadership.  Specific goals include promoting ethical decision making in academic, social and emotional contexts, teaching students about the ethical responsibilities that they currently have, and helping students to become leaders with morals and uncompromising values. The core of the Character Education Club is the Character Council, which is made up of elected students dedicated to developing and implementing school programs for character development each marking period.  As members of this select group, these students will also have the responsibility of peer-leadership, and exemplifying moral and character-conscious behavior in academic and social settings.
