The Cooking club is a group of students who already enjoy cooking, or who want to learn the basics of cooking and baking. Students meet once a month to cook various aspects of meals: appetizers, salads, soups, sides, entrees, desserts. Basics of cooking, knife skills, baking, and kitchen safety and cleanliness are learned. After the various components of the meals are prepared, the club sits down, and family style, enjoys their creations. Additionally, as part of the club, students have the opportunity to volunteer at the local fundraiser Empty Bowls, as well as at JBJ Soul Kitchen in Red Bank.
