BROADCASTING CLUB

MEMBERSHIP:  Open to all students, grades 9 – 12

NUMBER OF MEETINGS:  Monthly but you will be required to weekly help with morning announcements

MEETINGS:  Once per month on average

The Broadcasting Club is a student-centered media club, which covers RFH news, sports and events. The club live

streams RFH athletic games online and is responsible for the student announcements.  The club allows students with

an interest in journalism, film, sports reporting, etc. to gain valuable hands-on experience to take to college and beyond.

Students learn what it takes to be part of a production team of on-air personalities, producers, directors, editors, etc.

Students also learn basic reporter skills in putting together news stories.  Students of all talent levels are welcome.
