Having information about the signs, risks, and supports are valuable tools for suicide prevention. You can help someone who may not have the resources to help themselves. Don't leave the person alone and seek immediate help. Warning signs of suicidal intent can include but are not limited to someone talking about or threatening to hurt themselves, feelings of helplessness or hopelessness.
