2023-2024 School Year Registration


    Thank you for your interest in registering your child(ren) at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School.  Registration for the 2023-2024 school year will take place online using the Genesis student information system.  In order to complete the registration, please be sure to have the documents needed on the checklist below.

    • Wednesday, January 25 - 8th Grade Curriculum Night - This event will be composed of two parts 
      • 6:30 pm: Registration Assistance - RFH personnel will be available with technology devices to assist individuals with the registration process.  If no help is required but you haven't already registered your student, please visit our website's "2023 - 2024 School Year Registration" page to do so.  Registration must be completed by Friday, February 10th, 2023.
      • 7:00 pm: Curriculum Overview - This presentation marks the first step in the scheduling process and will provide an overview of our academic expectations and information relative to the courses your incoming student can select.  The goal of the presentation is to provide you with an introduction to your 8th grader's options and the larger four-year picture relative to course selection and scheduling so that you may assist your student in the process and at their individual selection meeting with our counselor in February.

    Please use the checklist below to ensure that you have all necessary documents available during the online registration process.  ALL of the documentation listed below is required during the registration process.  Please contact the RFH registrar team at genesis@rumsonfairhaven.org with any questions during the registration process.

    • Proof of student’s identity - Copy of student’s birth certificate or other proof of student’s identity

    • Proof of Residency

      1. Copy of Deed, Lease or Affidavit.

      2. Proofs of Residency - You will be required to upload two proofs of residency from the list of accepted documents below.  Any document uploaded must be a current document and display the residence address and date of document.  Other personal details do not need to be displayed.

        • Utility Bill
        • Tax Document

        • Pay Stub

        • Drivers License (front and back of license - unexpired)

        • Financial Statement



    Course Selection 

    • Online Registration must be completed prior to your child's course selection appointments.
      • World Language- Placement tests are administered to determine advanced standing in Spanish and French.
      • Placement testing is not required for those students who wish to begin their World Language study in Spanish I, French I, or Chinese I.  

    • Class of 2027 - In advance of a student's course selection appointment, the student should complete their Course Selection of the courses they wish to take, including their elective choices and alternate electives, as well as the language they will select or for which a placement test is required.
